摘要
金属带式无级变速器是一种传动比能连续变化的自动变速器,它采用金属带和两组带轮来传递动力,带轮的工作半径可以连续变化,从而可以实现传动比的无级变化。汽车无级变速器能使发动机一直工作在理想工况下,从而可以使汽车获得良好的动力性、经济性和行驶平顺性。它是最具有发展前景的自动变速器之一。
论文先介绍了研究背景、无级变速器的国内外发展现状以及设计的意义,然后分析比较了常用自动变速器的结构、性能及优缺点,接着分析了金属带式无级变速器的结构和工作原理,最后设计了轻型越野汽车的无级变速器。设计包括液力变矩器、行星齿轮机构、无级变速机构、中间减速机构、主减速器和差速器等部件的设计。

Abstract
Metal belt continuously variable transmission is an automatic transmission which can change the transmission ratio continuously.It is driven by the metal belt and two groups of belt wheel. The working radius of belt wheel can be changed continuously, so the transmission ratio can be changed continuously. Continuously variable transmission can always make the engine work under the ideal conditions, so it can make the vehicle obtain good acceleration performance,economic performance and ride performance. At the beginning, this paper introduced the research backgrounds and the development of continuously variable transmission at home and abroad as well as the significance of the design.Then, the paper analyzed and compared the structure, performance, strengths and weaknesses of several commonautomatic transmissions. Next, the structure andthe working principleof the metal beltcontinuously variable transmission are analyzed. At last, thecontinuously variable transmission of light cross country vehicle is designed.Theparts of the designincludea fluid torque converter, a planetary gearing, avariator,an intermediate reduction drive, a final reduction drive and a differential.
